The NC State Grange is truly a grassroots organization. The development of Grange legislative policy begins at the local level, giving every member a chance to voice his or her concerns. Adopted policy is brought to local, state and national leaders' attention by the Legislative Department and through active involvement of Grange members. Grange policy is a true representation of Grange members and focuses on a wide range of issues ranging from agriculture to education to taxation and more.
Mission
- The Grange is very protective of its non-partisanship status in the public forum
- We continue to advocate for rural and suburban citizens of the state
- We assist local Granges in being an active participant at governmental meetings in their county and to take an active part in the introduction of and passage of legislation on local, state and federal levels of government
- We strive to work closely with other organizations and commodity groups to promote legislation that will benefit citizens of the state
